Andy Pettitte

Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com suspects that it will take more than a $12 million offer to lure Andy Pettitte away from retirement.
Why? Because Hiroki Kuroda, a worse pitcher on many levels than Pettitte, got a one-year, $12 million contract from the Dodgers earlier this offseason. Pettitte's people can simply point at that deal and say "we want more." The veteran southpaw is still deciding whether to return for a 16th major league season or retire to his comfortable Deer Park, Texas home
